How do I pay?

Deposits I can take via pay pal (chubbsmorris52@yahoo.com) or Venmo (tattoosbychubbs) and all tattooing is CASH ONLY.

How long will my tattoo take?

There are many variables to this. Depending on style, different body parts/body types, size, details, skin type, and how well you sit all affect how long your tattoo takes. I will give you a ballpark time estimate ahead of your appointment but sometimes things take less or more time, or require a second session for the same reasons above.

Will you draw something for me to see if I like it?

No. I only work with people who are as serious, trusting, and professional as I am about getting tattooed.

Can you send me a drawing ahead of time?

No. I do almost all of my drawings the night before/morning of an appointment. There’s simply not enough time in the day to draw things in advance or to make multiple drawings for one tattoo.

What if I don’t like the design?

Trust is extremely important in this process. When I am commissioned for tattoo work I do the best of my abilities every time, I put my reputation on everything I make and have your best interest in mind. Minor changes can be made upon arrival to your appointment. However, if you’d like to make major changes or change the idea entirely, you will forfeit that days deposit and have to leave ANOTHER DEPOSIT to reschedule for another day.

What styles do you prefer?

Biomechanic/Bioorganic take priority. Along with black and grey realism or traditional Japanese tattooing.  If I don’t feel capable of executing the style you want, I will refer you to an artist who can.  I don't do small tattoos outside of these styles and I do not do lettering. There are people in the shop better suited to do that for you.

Can I use numbing cream?

Yes but I must be NOTIFIED you are using it ahead of time. I only allow HUSH brand because it does not effect the skin. They are to be applied PROPERLY (see below) 1 hour before your appointment. If you need me to do it for you I can, but I will need to be NOTIFIED of this so you can arrive earlier, and it will add an hour on to your final cost if I apply it, due to wait time.

How do I apply numbing gel?

Take a warm shower or use a warm wash cloth on the area to open pores, scrub off dead skin with only a warm washcloth/paper towel. Apply a THICK layer of gel and do not rub in the skin. Tightly wrap area with saran wrap. No cling wrap, foil, or anything with adhesive. Leave that on until I take it off before placing stencil.
